Gerine Williams has a passion for food and community. She brings a long career in the food industry and community development network in Sacramento. Food Literacy Center is the perfect meeting place for both worlds. 

Gerine joined Food Literacy Center in 2023 to help operate the Oak Park Farmers Market. She is now our Community Engagement Manager, overseeing both the Oak Park Farmers Market and outreach and engagement events for Food Literacy Center. 

In 2024 Gerine successfully launched the Food Adventure Dinner Series at Food Literacy Center. This fundraising dinner series is an opportunity for guests to experience Food Literacy Center recipes accompanied by a unique dining experience. Gerine uses her culinary background and relationships to bolster events and programs here at Food Literacy Center.
