The party is at Mayahuel, 1200 K Street in Sacramento, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The mission of the California Food Literacy Center is to inspire change today for a healthy, sustainable tomorrow through enduring community food education. The party will include:

• Winner of the Kids Food Literacy Sandwich Recipe Contest will be announced
• Light appetizers from Mayahuel
• Children’s refreshments
• Beer donated by Ruhstaller & Wine
• Learn about our innovative food literacy education that’s improving the health of our children
