English Muffin Veggie Pizzas
These English muffin veggie pizzas make an awesome snack for kids and adults alike! You and your family can assemble your own pizzas and put your favorite vegetables on top, and it’s a great way to get kids in the kitchen to learn how to use a recipe. For those who do not typically enjoy vegetables, this is certainly a great way to have them try something new!

English Muffin Veggie Pizzas
Yield: 1 per student
Ingredients:
- 1 English muffin
- 2 Tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 oz shredded cheese
- 1 pinch Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup diced veggies
Instructions for parents/teachers:
If baking, preheat oven to 425 degrees. When kids complete recipe, bake pizzas on a cookie sheet for 8-9 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Use a knife to cut the vegetables into diced pieces.
Instructions for kids:
- Split the English muffin into two halves. Spread 1 Tablespoon of tomato sauce on each half.
- Sprinkle a little cheese on top of the tomato sauce.
- Sprinkle the cheese with a pinch of Italian seasoning.
- Add a handful or two of diced veggies on top of the cheese.
- Eat! Or ask an adult to bake your pizza in the oven, and then eat.
