Natural Explorer Trail Mix

Trail mix is a perfect snack for kids!

We love trail mix because:

  • It’s healthy! Nuts & seeds provide heart healthy fats, vitamin E, copper, manganese, and zinc. They are also rich with fiber and protein! Dried fruits are loaded with micronutrients, fiber and antioxidants.
  • It’s portable! If you’re going hiking or just running errands with your kids, it’s a great snack to have pre-packaged and ready for when hunger strikes.
  • It’s kid-friendly! Kids can assemble their own trail mix and tailor their mix to include the ingredients they love!

Natural Explorer Trail Mix

Yields: 1 serving snack mix

Ingredients

1 cup popcorn, season to taste

1/4 cup raisins

1/4 cup banana chips

2 Tablespoons sunflower seeds

2 Tablespoons pumpkin seeds

2 Tablespoons dried coconut flakes

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir with a spoon to mix. Serve immediately.
