White Bean & Herb Dip

We made this delicious white bean & herb dip in class and the kids loved it! It’s an easy recipe you can make to serve as a healthy dip for parties or a quiet night at home. Get your kids to help mix all the ingredients together!

White Bean & Herb Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 15-oz can white beans
  • 1/2 cup nonfat sour cream
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup fresh green onion, chopped

Instructions for parents/teachers:

Use can opener to remove lid from beans. Slice lemon.

Instructions for kids:

Place beans in a medium bowl and mash with a fork. Add sour cream, lemon juice, garlic salt and black pepper.

Tear fresh herb leaves into bowl. Add green onions and stir to combine. Serve with sliced veggies.
