Shishito Pepper Spicy Snack
Looking for more fun ways to eat your veggies? This spicy snack really hits the spot. It’s a salty and hot finger food that’s great for a quick treat. There are just 3 ingredients, and it takes only a few minutes to make! If you don’t love spicy food, the shishito peppers can be substituted with any mild small pepper. If you do love food with a kick, you can also add jalapenos or other small, hot peppers.
Shishito Pepper Spicy Snack Recipe
Yield: 2 cups

Ingredients
- 2 cups whole shishito peppers
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions for Adults
Assist children with hot stove.
Instructions for Kids
Rinse the peppers.
Heat the olive oil in a saute pan over medium high heat.
Add the peppers to the hot pan and saute for 5-8 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes. The peppers should turn golden brown and begin to glisten when they are finished.
Remove the peppers from the hot pan and place them in a large serving bowl.
Sprinkle with salt and toss to coat. Serve them warm as a finger snack.
